I got my degree from Brooklyn College in Creative Writing, but never pursued it seriously as a career. I have written a few short stories that I don’t find embarrassing, and I’ll let you see a couple of samples here.

More recently, when in my mid-fifties, I spontaneously started writing my own poetry. I have begun to publish poems and have done several readings around the Woodstock area. This page links to a few samples of my poetic work, which I think is distinguished by its variety of subject and tone. You’ll have to make your own judgments about quality.

Here’s a reading of my own (and some of Tara’s) poetry at Club Harmony, Woodstock NY, on July 4, 2011 : Leslie Gerber – July 4 2011 reading – Woodstock NY (.mp3 – approx 24 minutes – opens in a new page)
