“The Grand Piano” was a program I produced and narrated for 2 1/2 years for WMHT-FM in Schenectady. We had been hoping for syndication of the series, but unfortunately nothing came of it.
The programs were originally produced by Robert McBride, and then, after he left for a job in Portland, by Rob Brown, my faithful engineer. Since they were all done without scripts, you can tell by listening that either I am amazingly eloquent and present-minded, or Rob is a superb editor. You probably won’t have any trouble guessing which is accurate!
As I find them I will also post various interviews and other interesting audio material here.
